Taken while climbing over the rockslide that occurred back in 2008 or 2009. I can’t remember the exact date that we were told but the path was definitely blocked off. We just ignored the signs and walked through anyway. Definitely worth it.

In anticipation of Instagram on Android, I present to the world: A vintage style picture from Yosemite National Park in January.
If you look in the very back, you can see part of Half Dome.
Oh, and I’m now a community manager over at DigitalTrends.com, the office is awesome and I’ll post a picture soon.
I took this picture at Christmas in the Park in downtown San Jose on December 1st. It was 71 degrees out. It didn’t feel right to me at all, I mean, it looked and felt like the middle of summer and there was a whole Christmas exhibition setup downtown complete with “Winter Wonderland” blaring from the speakers.
Don’t get me wrong, I love the amazingly warm weather, but Christmas just isn’t Christmas without the cold weather and snow. I guess that’s why they try to simulate it with all the tacky white plastic sheets they put on the ground and the fake snow falling from light posts, though.
It’s weird, because I never much liked the concept of Christmas that much anyway. But now that I’m on the verge of experiencing my first Christmas without snow, family and friends — I miss it. A lot.
And I kind of love this picture. Even if it is all fake.
The last park photo brought in almost 300 views (but only 1 like and 0 comments? Feeback? Anyone?) so I figured I’d go ahead and post a similar photo.
This one comes to you from the top of Alum Rock Park, over-looking San Jose just before it started to rain and we had to make the long, muddy, trek back down (which completely ruined my brand new pair of Trujillo Vans that I scored for $23). The cool pictures kinda made up for the ruined pair of shoes, but still.
Another photo from somewhere in Alum Rock Park. I really like this one because it doesn’t look like the HDR was overdone. Instead, the colors are just really awesome and it almost looks like a painting. Kind of surreal like.
I took this photo the first time I went up to Alum Rock Park.
I really like the way it turned out to look so surreal-like.
I don’t actually remember where this is at all except that it is somewhere in Alum Rock Park where I went for a hike the other day.
I didn’t get any really cool pictures this time, but I really like this one. I can’t exactly point my finger to why, but I just do.
